Would you like to work amongst the most beautiful fresh flowers in the Netherlands? We are looking for an enthusiastic Flower roller which ensures that flowers are perfectly prepared for export to customers all over the world. Our valued client has been operating from FloraHolland Aalsmeer since 2006 and specialises in the export of fresh flowers.

Progressing to a permanent contract

Our client is looking for people who are keen to commit to the company for the long term. That is why we are keen to invest in new colleagues who are keen to learn the trade.

Don’t have any experience? No problem. Experienced colleagues will show you the ropes step by step, so you can get the hang of all the tasks. We’ll take the time to train you to become an independent and experienced flower arranger.

If you demonstrate that you are reliable, enjoy your work and fit in well with the team, there is a good chance that, after a certain period, this client will take you on directly via the agency.

What will you do?

As a Flower Handler, you play a key role in our logistics process. You work with fresh flowers every day and ensure that orders are processed accurately and on time.

- Wrapping bunches of flowers in protective paper.

- Arranging flowers in vases.

- Packing flowers into custom-made export boxes.

- Picking orders and preparing them for dispatch.

- Sorting and checking flowers for quantity and quality.

- Labelling, scanning and processing orders.

- Moving flower trolleys and crates.

- Assisting with various logistical tasks in the warehouse.

- Ensuring a tidy and organised workplace.

What do we expect from you?

You speak and understand English well.

No experience is necessary; motivation and commitment are more important to us.

You enjoy working with flowers and plant products.

You are meticulous and have an eye for quality.

You are able to work well independently, but also function well as part of a team.

You are physically capable of carrying out active work and staying on the move all day.

You are flexible; working days usually start around 6.00 am and finish when the work is done.

You’ll need your own transport, as the early start time makes it difficult to arrive on time by public transport.

You have your own accommodation.

You are reliable, keep your word and arrive on time.

You have a positive attitude to work and are keen to learn new things.

What do we offer you?

An hourly wage of €17.50 gross per hour.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed for journeys of 10 km or more.
