Order Picker / Warehouse Assistant – Waddinxveen

We are looking for a motivated and physically fit candidate for our client in Waddinxveen Order Picker / Warehouse Assistant. Are you a real go-getter, do you speak English well, and do you have experience in logistics? Then this might be the job for you!

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and processing orders, using a hand-held scanner and unloading containers. You enjoy physical work, are able to work steadily and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves.

You’ll be working in a professional logistics environment where teamwork, accuracy and a good work ethic are important.

Our client is a professional logistics organisation that supports businesses with the storage, handling and distribution of a wide range of products. From a modern warehouse in Waddinxveen, goods are received, stored, picked and prepared for dispatch to customers both at home and abroad.

The organisation utilises efficient logistics processes and modern tools to ensure that orders are processed correctly and on time. Quality, reliability and a practical approach are key.

You’ll be working in a dynamic environment where no two days are exactly the same. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure that incoming goods are directed to the right place and that orders are carefully picked and prepared for dispatch.

What will you do?

As an Order Picker / Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be actively carrying out a variety of tasks in the warehouse on a daily basis.

- Picking orders using pick lists or digital orders.

- Using a handheld scanner to record and check goods.

- Manually unloading containers and unpacking incoming goods.

- Lifting, moving and stacking boxes and other goods.

- Checking quantities, items and any damage.

- Placing incoming products in the correct location.

- Preparing orders for further processing or dispatch.

- Keeping the workplace tidy, organised and safe.

- Working with colleagues to achieve daily targets.

- Identifying any anomalies or damage and reporting them to the relevant colleague.

What do we expect from you?

Own accommodation and transport to work

A good command of English, so that you can understand instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Experience in a warehouse, a logistics environment or with order picking.

Experience of using a hand-held scanner, or a willingness to learn how to use one quickly.

Good physical fitness and sufficient strength to lift boxes and unload containers by hand.

An active, practical and results-oriented approach to work.

The ability to work accurately and pick orders correctly.

A strong sense of responsibility and an eye for safety.

The flexibility to carry out various logistics tasks.

A supportive working environment and a willingness to work together.

The ability to follow instructions properly and keep to agreements.

Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.

What do we offer you?

A gross hourly wage of between €15.50 and €16.20, depending on your experience.
